German Potato Salad printer friendly 1 lb. Yukon Gold Potatoes (or other waxy potato) I have recently discovered that the Yukon gold potatoes have a buttery taste and really work well in this salad. It is up to your taste how much vinegar and spices you want. We boil potatoes in the skin until tender, peel and cool. Donated by Carol Kupser
